Supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte have flooded social media with a plea for people to avoid watching the upcoming "Darna" movie of Erik Matti after he allegedly cursed at the Filipinos who voted for President Rodrigo Duterte.
The director of "On The Job," "Honor Thy Father," and "Seklusyon" took to Twitter to express his frustration, allegedly towards the supporters of the President.
" In case you haven't read my tweets before, I'll say it again: 'Sa lahat ng bumoto, pu**ng ina nyo!' Isa pa: 'Pu**ng ina nyo!," Matti tweeted."
Netizens were both shocked and outraged that a known director would curse at millions of people who voted for Duterte.
As a retort, fearless netizens called for a boycott of his anticipated film "Darna" which will star Liza Soberano.
