Taking journalism, blogging, writing - whatever you want to call it - ethics aside, Pinoy Ako Blog's Jover Laurio is known to post tasteless blogs and statements that not only violate the rules of online etiquette, but most of the time the rules of decency, too.

Wishing someone ill

We all know that no matter how angry we are with a person, we should never wish them ill. However, this, apparently, does not apply to Laurio as she wishes ill at "someone" even using the name of the Lord.

In a tweet she posted yesterday, she asked God to take "him" away already. This "him" is thought to be President Rodrigo Duterte whom Laurio thinks is bad for the country.

Unethical

Comments from both sides of the political fence poured, even Duterte's known social media supporters replied to Laurio.

MJ Quiambao Reyes, is known to always slam yellow senators, and this prompted her to reply to Laurio's tweet.

In a quite nicer way, Reyes threw back the bomb to Laurio and said that she should be careful about what she is wishing because her wish might be granted on her, not on her enemy.

In a follow-up comment, Reyes said that no matter how many times Laurio targets her, she never wished her ill.

Other netizens also gave their sides about the unethical tweet of the Liberal Party blogger.

He still has to pay

While some were quick to react against or along the lines of what Laurio said, others smartly turned the wheels and put the former president Noynoy Aquino in place of Laurio's tweet.

These people mockingly replied to Laurio's tweet saying that they would rather not have Aquino face the Lord yet as he has irregularities to answer for.

How about you? Do you think this is right? Wishing ill on someone, no matter how you hate that person?
