President Rodrigo Duterte recently signed the bill on the national identification system to law or Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). All Filipino citizens and registered aliens would be required to register through the government"s central identification platform.

Second question: Sa pagkuha, may bayad po ba eto? [Is there any fee?]

In addition, aside from the National I.D System, PRC License, Philippine Passport, and LTO Driver’s License are among those valid I.Ds that is acknowledged.

The system will collect a person"s demographic data such as full name, s*x, date of birth, blood type, address, and citizenship. Biometric information will also be recorded, including a front-facing photograph, full set of fingerprints, and iris scan. Collected information will be handled and secured by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), according to Rappler.
